About the Role
We are seeking a Senior or Lead Data Consultant who will lead a squad of engineers to deliver innovative data solutions. In this role, you will also contribute to technical pre-sales activities, shape project delivery outcomes, and ensure high standards across implementation and consulting engagements.
This is an ideal role for someone who combines strong delivery capability with leadership potential and has hands-on experience delivering projects using Databricks. Current Databricks certifications will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of data engineers and consultants on end-to-end project delivery
  • Engage in technical pre-sales discussions with prospective clients, providing solution design input and effort estimates
  • Drive implementation of modern data platforms using best practices in data modelling, ETL/ELT, and automation
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Databricks solutions across client engagements
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal capability development
  • Work collaboratively with engagement leads and architects to ensure successful project outcomes
Technology Environment
You would be working with other technologies such as:
  • Snowflake
  • DBT
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with AWS or Azure is also highly regarded.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in data engineering or consulting roles
  • Demonstrated experience delivering data projects on Databricks
  • Current Databricks certifications preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to contribute to both project delivery and pre-sales solutioning
