The Role
We're searching for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer who can contribute across the stack, someone excited by ownership, architecture, and clean code. You’ll begin by leading front-end efforts on a key demo application before shifting focus to more complex back-end integrations.
This role is perfect for a hands-on developer with a growth mindset, a strong grasp of both front- and back-end principles, and a desire to work on a product with real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver front-end features using React, TypeScript, and Bootstrap
- Transition to back-end development using Java and Spring frameworks
- Partner with the Engineering Manager and security leads to deliver scalable, secure systems
- Help define architecture and participate in code reviews and system design
- Mentor junior developers and shape engineering best practices
- Contribute to infrastructure automation using AWS CDK and BitBucket Pipelines
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, Bootstrap
- Backend: Java (preferred), Spring, RESTful APIs
- Infrastructure: AWS, AWS CDK, BitBucket Pipelines
- Other: OOP, data structures & algorithms
- Bonus: ISV experience or prior exposure to security-sensitive projects
Who You Are
- You’re based in Australia or New Zealand and hold citizenship inorder to be eligible for security clearance (due to sensitive customer requirements)
- You’re a natural problem-solver with a collaborative mindset
- You enjoy mentoring others and contributing to team growth
- You bring a proactive, curious approach and a willingness to deepen your Java skills
- You value well-structured, secure, and maintainable code
